search engine optimization

Bez kategorije Comments Off

<![CDATA[There are no secrets on how to rank high with the major search engines because effective search engine optimizations are now immense. What is search engine optimization? Before we discuss that thing, you have to understand first how search engines work and a bit of know-how. Search engines are into providing their users with the most relevant and up-to-date information to match the search term that was used. They are sophisticated pieces of technology which allow users to quickly find relevant websites by searching for a word or a phrase. Search engine results are useless to users if the information doesn’t relate to the search term, or if the results are old. People expect the most up-to-date and fresh information that is useful to them. Updating your website everyday and adding some materials will help you get noticed by the search engines. So, if you are going to sell any type of product or service online, you have to optimize your website for the search engines, in order to boost traffic and sales. It is because over 90% of your business will likely come directly from search engine results. And for that reason, it is absolutely important to optimize your site for search engines for you to have the greatest deals in the entire world. Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process by which webmasters or online business owners utilize strategic copy to augment their website’s status. It is certain that the internet has grown so fast over the years and the competition for the best search engine position has created an enormous market. Therefore, better understanding the fundamental elements of Search Engine Optimization is vital for an online business’ success. Making use of effective search engine optimization techniques will improve the page rank of your website. There are many tricks that can be used to increase page rank; the most effective method is to provide high quality content consistently. This seems like a simple concept but there are many websites that fails to provide content that visitors find interesting. Sites which provide content that are interesting, well-written and regularly updated create highly engaged visitors who are more likely to return to the website in the coming days. So, if you can set your website apart from those boring, lifeless sites then do it. You’ll surely have a step closer to achieving high page rank through search engine optimization. The next significant factor for an effective search engine optimization is to include keywords and phrases within your content. To make sure that you are properly targeting your market, you have to make sure that the keywords and phrases you have on your site are the keywords and phrase that your site is actually optimized for. The more keywords you use in your content, the more likely it is that online visitors will find your site when they do some research with those words. If you are unfailing with these techniques, then your overall search engine optimization will increase, boosting your page rank. You should also have to develop a linking strategy as a part of your search engine optimization. Not only does this provide free advertising for your site, but it makes the impression that your site is imperative because of its affiliated links. For each link that you have pointing back to you, that is another chance for your potential customer to find you. The more inbound links that you have pointing to your site, the higher you will be ranked in the search engines. Another is to develop a content stratagem. People who get to search from the internet are looking for information. The more information you provide for them and the more helpful it is, the more likely you will make the sale. Writing articles is the most effective way to build up content for your site. When writing articles to post on your site, make sure that you develop a clear means of arranging their content. You can do this by simply adding a new page to your site. This will allow room for extra articles to be added as you write them, and will allow you to build up an archive of articles which will maintain to draw online visitors. Make sure also that you have included your archived articles in a directory that is next to the root web of your site so that the search engines will catalog your online articles. Always keep in mind that search engine optimization methods are important in developing your site’s status. With that thing in mind, make sure that you write high-quality, keyword rich content and link your site to and from a deliberate family of other sites. These things will help improve your site’s popularity and coerce increased business through your online business.

An Epic Tale Of Google SEO And The Inbound Link

<![CDATA[An Introduction To Google (For Those That Might Need It)

Google is the behemoth of search engines, the plateau we aspire to, and the chagrin of many a Webmaster and marketer. If they love your website, you will in turn grow to love the masses of traffic they send your way. In contrast, if they deem your site to be of little or no value then you’ll struggle to fill the aching void in your Internet marketing. OK, so that might be a little over the top but to the battle hardened SEO a lot of it will probably ring true and they are certainly the biggest and most popular of the current search engines.

The Torrid Tale Of The Ever Changing Google Algorithm

Optimizing any site to promote it within Google search engine results pages can prove to be an ongoing saga. After countless months of optimizing, tweaking, linking, and improving you might be lucky enough to find your site listed at the top of the results page. If you do then we all hail you and you have the unarguable right to give yourself a firm pat on the back. Problems can arise, though, when Google perform another of their seemingly uncountable algorithm updates. Boom, your site suddenly drops from top spot to page 53 of the results. After a week of crying, shouting, and screaming the results begin to settle and your site once again finds itself heading towards the dizzy heights of page one.

Again, this is a slight over-exaggeration in most cases. Google do update their algorithms because they attempt to prevent the unethical few that we have all come to know and love as black hat SEOs from gaining that coveted top spot. In fairness to Google, this can’t be an easy battle. They make a change, the black hat SEOs change their methods to match. Google again make some changes in a bid to counteract these new methods and, what do you know, the black hat SEOs pop up again with some new, equally cunning ploy to steal the top positions from the rest of us Google abiding promoters. And so, the algorithms change once again.

An Introduction To Our Hero

A Guide to RSS Aggregators

Bez kategorije Comments Off

<![CDATA[One of the most popular features of Internet portals, websites, pages and even emails is a frame that features an organized list of news headlines and periodic updates from other web sources. Really Simple Syndication, formerly “Rich Site Summary” or simply, RSS makes this possible. Most users visit a lot of websites whose content continually change, such as news sites, community organization or professional association information pages, medical websites, product support pages, and blogs. As Internet surfing became an intrinsic part of business and leisure, it became important to get rid of the very tedious task of repeatedly returning to each website to see updated content. RSS easily distributes information from different websites to a wider number of Internet users. RSS aggregators are programs that use RSS to source these updates, and then organize those lists of headlines, content and notices for easy reading. It allows computers to automatically retrieve and read the content that users want, then track changes and personalize lists of headlines that interests them. The specially made computer programs called “RSS aggregators” were created to automatically find and retrieve the RSS feeds of pre-selected internet sites on behalf of the user and organize the results accordingly. (RSS feeds and aggregators are also sometimes referred to as "RSS Channels" and "RSS Readers".) The RSS aggregator is like a web browser for RSS content. HTML presents information directly to users, and RSS automatically lets computers communicate with one another. While users use browsers to surf the web then load and view each page of interest, RSS aggregators keeps track of changes to many websites. The titles or descriptions are links themselves and can be used to load the web page the user wants. RSS starts with an original Web site that has content made available by the administrator. The website creates an RSS document and registers this content with an RSS publisher that will allow other websites to syndicate the documents. The Web site also produces an RSS feed, or channel, which is available together with all other resources or documents on the particular Web server. The website will register the feed as an RSS document, with a listed directory of appropriate RSS publishers. An RSS feed is composed of website content listed from newest to oldest. Each item usually consists of a simple title describing the item along with a more complete description and a link to a web page with the actual content being described. In some instances, the short description or title line is the all the updated information that a user wants to read (for example, final games scores in sports, weblogs post, or stock updates). Therefore, it is not even necessary to have a web page associated with the content or update items listed -- sometimes all the needed information that users need would be in the titles and short summaries themselves. The RSS content is located in a single file on a webpage in a manner not very different from typical web pages. The difference is that the information is written in the XML computer code for use by an RSS aggregator and not by a web user like a normal HTML page. There are 2 main parts that are involved in RSS syndication, namely: the source end and the client end. The client end of RSS publishing makes up part of the system that gathers and uses the RSS feed. For example, Mozilla FireFox browser is typically at the client end of the RSS transaction. A user’s desktop RSS aggregator program also belongs to the client end. Once the URL of an RSS feed is known, a user can give that address to an RSS aggregator program and have the aggregator monitor the RSS feed for changes. Numerous RSS aggregators are already preconfigured with a ready list of RSS feed URLs for popular news or information websites that a user can simply choose from. There are many RSS aggregators that can be used by all Internet users. Some can be accessed through the Internet, some are already incorporated into email applications, and others run as a standalone program inside the personal computer. RSS feeds have evolved into many uses. Some uses gaining popularity are: ·For online store or retail establishments: Notification of new product arrivals ·For organization or association newsletters: title listings and notification of new issues, including email newsletters ·Weather Updates and other alerts of changing geographic conditions ·Database management: Notification of new items added, or new registered members to a club or interest group. The uses of feeds will continue to grow, because RSS aggregators make access to any information that individual users like more convenient and fun.

Good SEO Strategies

<![CDATA[SEO is not difficult but not easy either, there are some strict rules that you need to follow to rank well on the Search Engines. Many people say MSN is the easiest SE to rank for then comes Yahoo! and finally Google. The problem with google is that it values old pages too much, you can have a new very informative website but you will probably not be in the top 10 for your main keyword if it is a very competitive one. Ok enough blabbering let's now come to the steps that you should follow carefully so that SE's does not consider your website as spam or worse can ban your website. The most important thing you need is link. Links, links and more links from relevant sources, tons of irrelevant may help you on MSN but it will not do your website any good on Google, so it's better to do the best thing that is not penalized by non of the main Search Engines, that is Google, MSN and Yahoo!. How to get links? This is a tuff answer... where to get your links from? You can get links from web directories, article directories and from link exchange with other related websites. When submitting to directories, search for the category most relevant to your website, check how many outgoing links the directory have per page. It will be kind of useless to submit to directories that does not follow the Google webmaster's guidelines. Also check if the directory is indexed by Google. PR is NOT the most important thing to check when submitting to a directory, it's has some value since it's an indication its importance (backlinks from good sources). Writing articles can also help you to get backlinks. How? Write one or two article about your website's subject, be sure to include your main keywords in the article, make it fun but to the point, don't write as if you are the most intelligent person on earth, this will just scare people away. Include examples where needed to back up your thoughts this will make you more credible to the reader. If you are not sure about something, search about it if you can't find better not write about it. Be sure to include a link to your website in the author note else the whole step will be useless. Now just search for article directories and start your submissions. There are hundreds of article directories around so you are sure to get some quality backlinks from them. Getting link partners is the most difficult and time consuming part in your link building campaign. Most websites will not be very keen to exchange link if they are in the top 10 and you are not. Here also you need to look for websites that are most relevant to yours, let's say you have a web design website, it is ok to exchange link with templates or SEO related websites that is any websites that are related to web development. Search engines values 3 way links exchange more, e.g. I link to site B from site A and Site C links to Site A. So better go for it when you get the opportunity. SEO takes time but it is fun and there are always new things to learn since the Search Engines change their algorithm once in a time, Google is the most complicated one but I read somewhere, better you optimize for Google and the other two will follow. Most techniques mentioned in this article are free strategies that only require your time. My advice: try all the free techniques first then go to paid if free doesn't work. Happy SEOing. ----------

Cpayscom2 Online Casino SEO Tips

Bez kategorije Comments Off

<![CDATA[This will be more than just SEO Tips for the Cpayscom2 Online Casino SEO Contest, I will share with you some SEO tips that you can use for your other websites also. In short i'll give some details about the things to do and to avoid for better ranking on the major Search Engines i.e. Google, MSN and Yahoo. And let it be clear, I am not saying I am a SEO expert, it's things I have noticed over time. Let's start with some on site optimization. Many people don't use meta tags, it's true that they are almost "dead" but Search Engines still pick your title and description tag for their listing. I noticed that google take part of you description tag and some random text from your website as description so it's good to have keyword rich content. Try to include your main keyword (e.g. Cpayscom2 Online Casino) in almost all your post if you have a blog, be very informative and add fresh and unique content regularly. Every body knows the saying 'Content' is King, but many doesn't understand this and just get tons of content, mostly from article directories, which will lead you nowhere since these articles have been published at hundreds of other websites. So it's best to say 'Unique content is King'. Also if you use images, don't forget the alt tags, remember that search engines can not read images, some say that it is good to include keyword in the image filename but so far I have not seen how this helps most important is the alt tags, try to be as descriptive as possible. Second thing to consider now that your Cpayscom2 Online Casino website is ready and search engine friendly is your link building campaign. Many people misunderstand this and think that the only thing to do is to get tons of links as fast as possible, this is not true. Link building takes time and should be from different sources like these: 1 - SE's Submission (to get more exposure but not very necessary) 2 - Directory Submission (submit to the most related category) 3 - Writing Article's 4 - Blogging (please blog wisely, don't SPAM) 5 - Forums (some forums allows links in signature) 6 - Press Release (make sure you have something news worthy) 7 - Reciprocal Link (I hate doing link exchange, but well it still helps so go for it and make sure to exchange link with only related websites) I've seen many people whining about why search engines ban them or why they are no longer in SERP and so on, I think the reason is because they have got thousands of links from many sources (mostly unrelated) and then for a good period no links at all, the search engines probably saw these links as FFA since they were acquired over a very short time, that's why I am telling to spread your link campaign over a period of time, you'll build link slowly and search engines will not penalize you. And do not concentrate on only one source of incoming links, I've seen many people just buy links here and there, they does not care whether these links are related or not. Think big, I've listed 7 ways to get links above, it's much better to get links from different sources. Another thing that I noticed is many Cpayscom2 Online Casino are bombing blogs with comments and most only links to their Cpsyscom2 Online Casino entry, this is considered SPAM, you will probably be penalized for this. I am not saying blog comments is not good, but moderate it, one or two legitimate comments here and there won't hurt. According to me, the key to have better SERP is to stay SPAM free, stay away from FFA, link farms, comment SPAM, and never try to fool search engines, have fresh and unique content. With all these it will be hard for the search engines to refuse you some love. ----------

Link Building – Beginners Starting Point

Bez kategorije Comments Off

<![CDATA[In order to promote their business, many people choose using link exchanges. This is a strategy that does not cost the business owners a single thing, thus it is a very good idea to start promoting your products and services by using such a method. All that is free is also popular, as many of you might say! But this is not entirely a simple thing, as most people have no clue regarding what they are getting themselves involved in. They are not aware of the significance of the whole matter until their website traffic and search engine rankings start growing. But on the whole, the result of all this is worth the time and work that you have put in to build the links. The starting point of my work was spending many hours searching the web for websites to link with. The numerous tools, services and directories available today were not there to help me out. But now there are many incoming emails that are asking me for links. I have given up looking for links a long time ago. The main thing you must acknowledge is that links will come looking for you, once you get established. So take the chance and get started today! Now, my goal has been and will be to help other webmasters, to better understand and optimize their link exchanges. I cannot claim that I discovered link exchanges or even perfected the technique, but it is a working one and that’s it! You must be wondering what the main reasons to link building are. Well, traffic, search engine rankings, link popularity and promotions are what drive most people in this business. Link exchanges have a special side of linking, most people do not ever mention and that is what they call the personal side of link exchanges. It has got me to meeting a lot of great webmasters and also reviewing a number of resources such as books, software and services. Link exchanges have allowed me to learn a lot about the Internet and website promotional issues. Besides linking to a website, when you create a link exchange, you are linking to a person, that is the webmaster. This is the reason why cold, impersonal, automated link exchange requests usually go unanswered. Link exchanging is something that has to be done in person, by email or by phone. In order to do that, all my link partners names and emails are very important to me.

The Coolest Guy On The Planet An SEO EXPERIMENT – By Mark Ress

<![CDATA[The Coolest Guy On The Planet An SEO EXPERIMENT

Hello and good day SEO Enthusiasts,

There is a reason why this article is called "The coolest guy on the planet SEO EXPERIMENT By Mark Ress".

You will notice that not only do I mention it in the title and first line of the article but I also have

it mentioned several times througout this article next to my name.

This article "Coolest Guy On The Planet" is an seo experiment in progress. You see I've been working in

SEO for the past few years. Actually dabbling and experimenting with it due to not being "formally"

trained in search engine optimization. I have used black hat SEO and gray hat SEO in the past but finally

forked out the cash to get trained by one of the TOP SEO masters in the nation. I will NOT mention his

name due to not wanting to create SEO competition for myself but what I can tell you is that when you look

up the terms SEO, SEO Training, SEO Course, etc. etc. they are always listed on the first page of Google

as they are true masters of search engine optimization. My instructor is a genius and has the respect of

many SEO veterans out there.

My instructor has worked with some of the biggest companys out there with regards to providing them seo

services. He took on one such company who wanted to be number one for a very competitive term and got them

search engine optimized and ranked top ten in record time. Now if that is not being the coolest guy on the

planet I don't know what is BUT he's not going for that title I am. More on me in a moment. Back to

themortgage story. That term was so competitive that it was said it could never be done. My instructor not

only did it but has kept the number one position for that term. I believe it was mortgage loan or home

loan I really can't remember. I mean taking on the mortgage industry for a very competitive term like that

can be very expensive and a lot of hard work that would take others way too long to complete. That is why

people would say it could not be done but he did it. I was trained by him and now am ready to see how far

I can get Mark Ress the coolest guy on the planet in this seo experiment.

Now for the who am I. I am Mark Ress and not only am I an SEO but a really good one at that. So good that

I can move Mark Ress the coolest guy on the planet up the seo charts without a doubt. As for the person

who holds the number one spot well there are many ways to cheat the SERPs to get yourself there. I am not

calling him a cheat but if you analyze his page it does not follow your typical SEO guidelines for on-page

or on-site optimization. If you know anything about SEO you know that people can Google bomb anything into

the top of the rankings by just getting a lot of high PR backlinks to point back at them or rather the URL

they want to rank well for a particular term. Especially if your anchor text contains the words "Coolest

guy on the planet". That would really help and do the trick. To me Mark Ress that is NOT being the coolest

guy on the planet. That is simply cheating. Again I am not calling anyone in particular a cheater. That is

not what I am trying to do here. I am trying to do it the right way though. The natural way. Again anyone

can blackhat there way to the top if they know how to do black hat seo tactics but that is not what I

want. I want Mark Ress the coolest guy on the planet to rank well organically and naturally.

At the time of this writing there is a gentleman by the initials of B.F. who is number one for the search

term "The coolest guy on the planet". If you go to Google.com and do a search on that phrase. I would bet

he is still number one. I have seen many people try to bump him from that number one spot but so far they

have not been successful. They slide from the 2-10 position but B.F. is still number one. If you're

wondering why I don't mention or spell out his name it's because I do not want to give him anymore help

staying in the number one spot. I want Mark Ress the coolest guy on the planet to get to the top ten for

the search term coolest guy on the planet and eventually give B.F. a run for his money. If anything I will

have had fun doing it.

You see as the story goes from one internet marketer who became famous for selling a manuscript about

"butterfiles and marketing" B.F. and the butterfly guy met in Las Vegas. One night they were together at

the same table gambling and the butterfly guy heard B.F. say to one of the female dealers I am "the

coolest guy on the planet." She kind of laughed it off and then B.F. said "No really type it in Google and

you will see bf.com. Remember that the B.F. stands for the guys initials. So the butterfly guy thought

B.F. was joking but then later saw he was not. In the butterfly guy's research he found that there is a

group of SEO "guru's" all fighting for that number one position for "the coolest guy on the planet" but no

one could knock B.F. out of the ranking for number one. So this is how the story goes or at least how I

read it in an article.

Well instead of going out and trying to get a domain name with the words coolest guy on the planet in the

domain name, since I did not want to pay, I just went to blogger and set up a totally free blog which took

me all of two minutes to do. It takes longer to register a domain and then on top of that pay for it.

Since this was just an seo experiment to get Mark Ress the coolest guy on the planet to rank well for the

search term coolest guy on the planet I thought I'd just save a few bucks on the registration. These other

guys, most of them anyway, paid for and registered domain names for with the search term in them but I did

not think it was necessary.

So now you know a little history about the whole "coolest guy on the planet" thing and why I Mark Ress

wants and is going to rank well for that search term. I just think it would be a whole lot of fun to do

it too.

Now as of this post in less than a month I got mys site http://coolestguyontheplanet1.blogspot.com/

indexed which was pretty good (and easy now a days) considering there are almost a million plus pages for

the term coolest guy on the planet. Two days later I noticed that it shot up to the 147th position and

then two days later after that it was the 41st position. I have not been using blackhat tactics but

following some simple SEO basic rules for organic growth. You will soon see that Mark Ress the coolest guy

on the planet will be ranking in the top ten for the search term coolest guy on the planet. How soon I can

not tell you but hopefully soon.

As it stands right now B.F. is still number one and the butterfly guy, who has WAY TOO MUCH time on his

hands, has a few different sites and pages ranked well for the term coolest guy on the planet. If you just

perform a search for coolest guy on the planet in Google you will see the results but since this is just

an experiment I am not worried about it. It's all for fun to me.

Now one thing I did notice is that at different times of the day different results show up and that is

because millions of pages and websites are being submitted to Google everday. Of course not all of them

are going after the search term coolest guy on the planet but Google is still getting pounded none the

less so if you check the morning results for a term and then check mid-day and THEN check at late night or

early a.m. you will see the results change. Some times the result changes are dramatic. That is because

Google is utilizing various servers across the nation and world pretty much to serve up these results. Do

they have just one bot or index? Hmmmmm now that is obvious that they do not. They have several just like

several servers managing their index at any given time which does not include all the back up systems.

Either way Mark Ress the coolest guy on the planet will rank well given enough time.

One more ingredient I am adding to the mix is articles. I will be posting this particular article up on

several article sites just to see how much of an impact they will have on my rankings AND to see how many

backlinks I can acquire in a specific amount of time. Again this is just an SEO experiment but since

others have used this method so will I. Does it work? Of course it does BUT you have to know what you are

doing and it would be nice to have control over the anchor text on other people's sites who will be

pointing back to you. Placing your keyword in the anchor text for the backlink is vital. Slowly but surely

those of you reading this "Mark Ress the coolest guy on the planet an SEO experiment" article can track

the results yourself.

If you are reading this and would like to take part in this experiment with me then place a link back to

my website http://coolestguyontheplanet1.blogspot.com/ with the anchor text or link text reading "Mark

Ress the coolest guy on the planet". The link text or rather anchor text should contain all the words

within the quotes. That is just one of the many ways you can get yourself ranking well for a particular

term and a really important one. If you can get back links from high PR sites or what are considered

authority sites then that's even better BUT there is one difference in what I am doing. Let me explain.

Earlier I said that just getting a bunch of backlinks is simply cheating in my eyes because you can buy

back links or create them with software now a days on blogging and social bookmarking sites. Some refer to

that as Google bombing and Google hates that. Technically you can point a bunch of backlinks to a site and

have the anchor text or link text not contain any keywords to a page and get that page ranking well for

another term. Here's an example. Look up the words "miserable failure" in Google. What appears as the

number one result is our President George Bush's official Whitehouse government website. What you will

notice though is that the words miserable failure are no where on the page or in the title tag,

description, etc. etc. What is happening is so many websites out there have anchor text or link text

pointing back to his site with the words miserable failure in them so he wins that top position in Google

for that term. Pretty interesting ha? Now if you are providing good content and asking others to point

back at you to share this information it is not cheating in my eyes. I have and will be having content on

my site for others to learn how to optimize their sites for the search engines. As a matter of fact I

already have a few lessons up there for seo enthusiasts to start reading. Now is this information all

new? No and most of it has been shared before but the difference is I will be trying to make it all plain

English for people to understand and utilize. I want others to learn from my site and that way they will

say that Mark Ress the coolest guy on the planet is truly the COOLEST!

Remember this URL: http://coolestguyontheplanet1.blogspot.com/ and remember the name Mark Ress.

Thanks for taking the time to read this article. I hope it motivates you to continue performing white hat

SEO and not succumbing to the black hat tactics. I know it is tempting and very hard to resist BUT if you

just hold stedfast you will succeed. Continue to check my site out because not only will I be posting

interesting lessons and tutorials but I will also be posting downloads like ebooks and software for you to

utilize in your quest for becoming an SEO. It truly is not difficult. I read some where once where it was

said that SEO boils down to three things:

1) Technical / Site Structure Issues account for (10%)
2) On-Site Content accounts for (30%)
3) Off-Site Components such as Link Popularity account for (60%)

With that being said you can come to the conclusion that off-page or off-site elements far outweigh the

on-site elements. Perfect example is a google bomb like that of the president's site mentioend earlier.

There are tons of other examples as well. For instance movie trailers usually are just a video file or

flash and have zero content that can be spidered by the search enginges. Yet because of all the backlinks

with the proper anchor text that zero content page can rank number one. Let's hope that Mark Ress the

coolest guy on the planet has shared some valuable nuggets here today.

So in your opinion is the Coolest Guy On The Planet Mark Resss? You decide and vote by placing a backlink

to my http://coolestguyontheplanet1.blogspot.com/ site.

One thing I want to get clear is that I don't think I am smarter, greater or better than those who are

ranking in the top ten for the search term coolest guy on the planet. They deserver that title...for now.

;)

Since starting so late in the game and at the bottom of the pile for this Coolest Guy On The Planet title

I think it's safe to say I have nowhere else to go but up.

To all those "coolest guys" on the planet who came before me. Thanks for starting this experiment and I

hope to make you all proud by staking my claim as Mark Ress The Coolest Guy On The Planet.
